Looking for a Therapist in New Braunfels?
Finding the right therapist can make a meaningful difference. I offer a supportive, judgment-free space where you can slow down, gain clarity, and create meaningful change.
Hi, my name is Maddie.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the therapist behind Oines Counseling Co. I provide therapy for women in New Braunfels, Texas, with a special interest in helping women who feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or disconnected from themselves.
I know that starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you’re used to being the one who holds everything together. Maybe you’ve spent years putting other people first, second-guessing yourself, or trying to navigate relationships and life changes on your own. My hope is that therapy can be a place where you don’t have to have all the answers or have everything figured out.
My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. I want to get to know you, not just what you’re struggling with, and help you better understand your thoughts, patterns, relationships, and values. Together, we’ll work toward feeling more confident in yourself, creating healthier boundaries, and building a life that feels more aligned with who you are.
I offer in-person therapy in New Braunfels and surrounding Central Texas communities, including the greater San Antonio area, Schertz, Cibolo, Garden Ridge, and Seguin. I also offer online therapy throughout Texas and Florida for women and adolescents. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, self-esteem, or a major life transition, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
I’m glad you’re here, and I’d be honored to be part of your journey.
Who I Help
I work primarily with women who are:
Overwhelmed & anxious
You can't turn your brain off, you're constantly worrying, or you feel like you're carrying too much.
Struggling in relationships
You're having trouble communicating your needs, setting boundaries, or understanding patterns that keep showing up.
Struggling with self-esteem
You second-guess yourself, compare yourself to others, or have difficulty trusting your own decisions.
Navigating a major life change
A breakup, divorce, move, career change, family change, or new chapter has left you feeling uncertain.
Disconnected from themselves
You spend so much time taking care of everyone else that you're not sure what you want anymore.
Feeling low or emotionally drained
You're functioning on the outside but struggling with sadness, motivation, confidence, or feeling like yourself.
Specialties
Anxiety can leave you feeling overwhelmed, stuck in cycles of overthinking, and disconnected from the present moment. In therapy, we'll work together to understand what's driving your anxiety, build practical coping skills, and help you respond to difficult thoughts and emotions with greater confidence, calm, and self-trust.
You deserve to feel confident in who you are, not constantly weighed down by self-doubt. Therapy can help you reconnect with your strengths, build healthier boundaries, and develop a deeper sense of self-worth and self-acceptance.
Depression can leave you feeling disconnected, exhausted, unmotivated, or like you’re simply going through the motions. In therapy, we’ll work together to understand what you’re experiencing, reconnect with what matters to you, and take meaningful steps toward feeling more like yourself again.
Grief can feel isolating, overwhelming, and difficult to put into words. Therapy provides a compassionate space to process your loss, honor what is meaningful to you, and learn how to carry your grief while continuing to move forward in life.
Life transitions can leave you feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself, even when the change is something you chose. Therapy can help you navigate this season with greater clarity, confidence, and a stronger connection to what matters most to you.
Relationship struggles can leave you feeling unheard, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to communicate what you need. In therapy, we’ll explore your relationship patterns, strengthen communication, and build healthy boundaries so you can feel more confident and secure in the way you show up in your relationships.
“Maddie has been incredible. I've done weekly sessions for several months now, and I really appreciate the genuine care/concern she has during sessions. She is solution-driven, and I've been able to take her tips and find them very useful in the real world. She also comes back to things I've shared in past sessions as needed. I've had 2 other therapists in the past and I feel like I've found a real fit for my needs with Maddie that I didn't experience with other therapists.”
